She enjoys reading, gardening, boating, taking cooking classes with her husband, and exploring Washington State in her free time.
Dr. Kimberlee Woodling
Dr. Kimberlee Woodling
Dr. Woodling grew up in the desert southwest of New Mexico. She’s always had a passion for veterinary medicine, as her first job was as a kennel assistant at the local vet hospital. After graduating from the University of New Mexico with a BSN and dabbling in human medicine for a few years, Dr. Woodling returned to the veterinary field! She graduated from UCD Dublin in Ireland, combining school with her love of travel. Eventually, the outdoors and food scene of Seattle called to her, and she and her husband relocated to the PNW.

Dr. Woodling is a passionate and dedicated veterinarian with special interests in cardiology, feline, and preventative medicine. Professionally, she’s had the privilege of working at the Pet Emergency Hospital in Dublin, Ireland during her studies, where she assisted veterinarians in triaging and caring for hospitalized patients.

When not at work you can find her enjoying the outdoors with her husband, trying a new local microbrewery, or at home getting lots of snuggles with her cat, Belle (A.K.A. Toodle Bug!)

Dr. Lauren Hamil

DVM, MS, DACVS-SA

Dr. Lauren Hamil, originally from Tallahassee, Florida, earned her undergraduate degree in zoology from the University of Florida (UF), where she worked at the UF College of Veterinary Medicine and with fruit bats at a local conservancy. Her passion for veterinary medicine and the outdoors led her to Colorado State University (CSU), where she earned her DVM. During veterinary school, she worked in oncology and radiation research and discovered a love for small animal surgery. After completing a one-year rotating internship at North Carolina State University, she returned to CSU for a residency in small animal orthopedic and soft tissue surgery, where she also earned a master’s degree. Board-certified in small animal surgery, Dr. Hamil specializes in soft tissue, orthopedic, and minimally invasive surgery. She finds the most fulfillment in improving pets’ lives through surgery, working closely with both pet owners and primary veterinarians. When she is not at work, Dr. Hamil enjoys wildlife photography, hiking, kayaking, and exploring the Pacific Northwest with her husband.
